Calculation of transportation resistance of different soils in Dredging Engineering

Abstract Pipeline transportation is a process of continuous balance between pumping pressure and pipeline resistance. Therefore, accurate calculation resistance can optimize the accuracy pump model working parameters. The slurry transported in dredging project complicated, dredged soil different regions quite resulting motion states process. Different types flow patterns are suitable for models. In this paper, according to actual dredger filling project, real transmission obtained by means monitoring data analysis. Three formulas Wang Shaozhou formula, Durand formula DHLLDV used compare clay, fine sand medium coarse sand. results show that best calculating sand; better transport silt; error clay small. analysis three kinds carried out, obtained. method theoretical projects obtained, reference table proposed, which provides transportation.
